THE magical Derren Brown is back with a mind-blowing new Channel 4 show called Incognito.

It’s another gripping telly experiment, in which ten strangers with wildly different backgrounds move into a mysterious institution for seven days.

Each has a job – such as soldier, porn star or priest – that is likely to get them judged by other people.

The aim is to keep their identity hidden, while trying to find out what the others do.

There are clues along the way as they take part in challenges that could highlight their occupations.

Illusionist said: “With previous shows I’ve normally had a clear idea of how things will conclude. This was very different.

“It’s a show about how we form opinions, live by our labels, judge others by them, and what happens when all that’s removed.”

Derren will oversee events and occasionally get involved to influence the players.

The show is expected to hit our screens later this year.

Tom Beck,’s head of live events, said: “Any Derren Brown show is an event, but Incognito is unlike anything he has done before.

“A social experiment disguised as a reality show. It’s ambitious, mischievous, challenging and, with its central question about how our personal prejudices affect the way we judge others, it couldn’t be more timely.

“The end results are fascinating, moving and wildly entertaining and I can’t wait for people to see it.”

I’m hooked already.

“She is still the world’s most stubborn woman and still around the house.” Martin then shared a new photograph of Fiona, which flashed up on the screen for viewers to see. He said: “There’s a nice picture of her eating some chocolate.

“She’ll probably hate it because she thinks her hair colour should be a bit better.”

Revealing more about the devastating effect Alzheimer’s has had on his wife, Martin yesterday added on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV1 show: “There’s no way I could drive or we could take .

“Fiona now rarely understands where she is going or why, constantly asking what is happening, probably four or five times a minute on loop for the entire journey.

“Honestly, I got close to telling the taxi driver to turn around and take us home — Fiona’s only safe place — as the stress was unbearable.

“But of course that self-pity pales into insignificance compared to what Fiona was going through.”

We wish Martin and Fiona all the best.

has given the seal of approval to her successor – saying she’ll bfind it a piece of cake.

The departing judge said: “You have the lovely Nigella, who’s very clever, and she’ll be very good at it.

Prue, who is leaving after nine years, added: “I wouldn’t dream of giving her any advice, she knows exactly what she’s doing.”

The show is famous for its fruity innuendos, so Nigella should fit right in with her saucy talk.

But will she match Prue on the risque scale?

Prue said at the Oldie of the Year Awards in London this week: “We’ll have to wait and see. I’ll be watching.”

While she’ll miss her kitchen sidekick , Prue admitted it was the right time to leave.

She has plenty in the pipeline with a new series of ITV’s Cotswold Kitchen and a travelogue with for .
