Former Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, has responded to the recent defection of the state's current governor, Peter Mbah, to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a post on his social media page on Tuesday, Chime stated that this move should not be seen as an act of betrayal.
He commented, “Political realignment is not betrayal; it is the courage to pursue a vision when previous paths can no longer support the dream.”
DAILY POST recalls that Chime switched from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC shortly after completing his second term as Governor of Enugu State in 2016.

Additionally, the immediate past governor of the state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, was among those who also joined the APC.
