DECLAN RICE made a shock cameo appearance on That Peter Crouch Podcast – after being cold called by Steve Sidwell hours after celebrating Arsenal’s title win.

After heading home and only a few hours of sleep, a tired Rice also joined a FaceTime call with former Fulham man Sidwell.

The England man was bleary-eyed as he spoke to his pal, Crouch and Chris Stark while they were recording the latest episode of their podcast.

, who was preparing to head out to the golf course after being given the day off by Arsenal chief Mikel Arteta, was still coming to terms with winning the title.

He said: “I went to bed for a few hours, but that’s it. I can’t believe it. It doesn’t feel real. It won’t sink in for ages, but it’s incredible.

“It’s mad because when you’re in season, all you think is obviously with all the small, narrow losses we’ve had throughout the last few years, you just think it cannot happen again.

“After leading for such a long way, it’s obviously in the back of your mind. Obviously, with how good City have been and how good they are, we think bloody hell.

“But we knew. Once , we took so much from that day and we were like, ‘we’re still going to do it. We still believe’.

“We’re just buzzing, we’re just buzzing. I can’t believe it.”

Rice rushed onto social media to with Kai Havertz, Eze, Myles Lewis-Skelly, William Saliba, Saka and transfer guru Andrea Berta straight after Arsenal were confirmed as champions.

The former West Ham skipper played a pivotal role in the Gunners finishing at the Premier League summit.
