ENGLAND footie legend David Beckham is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next week – and his wife Posh Spice will play a huge role.

The 51-year-old will be honoured with the 2,849th star along the famed landmark.

Singer-turned-fashion-designer will of course be on hand during the ceremony as she’s poised to share her support for David.

Mum-of-three Victoria is said to be showing up for her man by speaking at the event alongside their pal actor .

It is unknown if the pair’s children and their partners will be in attendance on June 11.

Ana Martinez, the Walk of Fame producer, said in a statement: “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome David Beckham to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“‘s recognition with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in the Sports Entertainment category comes at a fitting moment as the United States prepares to host the World Cup.”

“Beckham’s role in elevating soccer’s profile in America and his lasting influence on sports, entertainment, and global culture make this honour especially meaningful,” she added.

David and Victoria, 52, climbed the Sunday Time’s Rich List as it was revealed earlier this month they amassed a fortune of £1.185billion.

Sir David’s puts him ahead of the King, whose wealth stands at just £680million.

David was knighted for his commitment and services to sport and charity.

He said at the time: “Today has been such an emotional day — more emotion than nerves, in all honesty.

“There have been a few tears and a lot of emotion.

“It’s been a very special day.

“It’s something that we can all be proud of today as a family.”
