LUKE HUMPHRIES has revealed an unexpected talent that he hopes might one day lead him to a popular BBC TV show.
He was speaking ahead of next week’s darts event when he disclosed his lesser-known skill that could see him transition from the dartboard to the kitchen.

In an interview with Boyle Sports , Humphries stated: “There are many aspects of my life that I believe everyone is aware of.
“However, one thing that fans might not know about me is my passion for cooking. I truly enjoy it, and I consider myself a pretty good cook.”
Humphries explained that this hobby helps him unwind.
He added: “It can be challenging while traveling, but when I'm home, I always prepare fresh dinners, and I’m quite a skilled chef, to be honest.
“Pasta dishes are my specialty; I excel at making carbonara, though I haven't quite mastered lasagna yet.
“Cooking brings me joy because I genuinely miss it when I'm away.
“When I return home after being away for seven days, you might think I'd want to collapse on the sofa, but the first thing I look forward to is cooking dinner and returning to my normal routine, which I strangely miss when I'm gone.”
The 30-year-old also expressed interest in showcasing his talent on television.
He mentioned that he would be open to appearing on a cooking show, or at least its celebrity version.
“If I’m being honest, I think MasterChef would be the show for me, not Bake-Off, as I’m not the best baker.
“Definitely MasterChef; if I keep practicing, maybe one day I could participate!”
For now, however, he must focus on the upcoming competition as he prepares to compete next week.
He will kick off his tournament with a match against Nathan Aspinall on Monday.
