Dantata was generous, he fed hungry people in markets – Tinubu condoles family

President Bola Tinubu, has described the late Aminu Dantata as a highly generous man who was always in the market feeding hungry people.

Tinubu who made the comments at the Dantata Koki House in Kano, on Friday,during a condolence visit to Dantat;s family.

He recalled that during his campaign for the presidency, he came to the late businessman, seeking prayers to win.

“I came here during the campaigns and I sought for prayers and indeed he gave it to me. It is a personal commitment to come to Kano to pay my condolences to the family and the entire Kano people for the great loss.”;

Thousands of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, supporters in the state, welcomed the President to the state.

Tinubu who arrived Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, MAKIA, Friday afternoon, was received by top chieftains of both APC and NNPP, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Deputy Senate President, Barau Ibrahim Jubrin, Nasiru Gawuna, Former APC Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2019 elections and many others.

From MAKIA, President Tinubu’s long convoy proceeded to Koki Quarters, in the heart of Kano city, where the late business mogul’s family house, Aminu Alhassan Dantata is located.

Thousands of APC and NNPP supporters stormed the streets of Kano, even with the heavy downpour, expressing their gratitude for President Tinubu’s condolence visit, describing it as very significant.
