FOUR people have been shot dead and six others injured in a fiery exchange off the Cuban coast, according to authorities.

In a brief statement, the ministry said Cuban coastguard agents only opened fire after “shots were fired from the boat”.
The commander of the Cuban vessel was also injured during the interaction.
