A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory has ordered a nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, from further defaming Apostle Johnson Suleman.
The judge in justice Edward Okpe of the FCT High Court made this order on Tuesday even as he emphasized that the parties, most especially halima abubakar in the suit should refrain from further defaming apostle johnson suleiman and also for her to maintain status quo ante bellum, pending the hearing and determination of the suit.
Recall that by a writ of summons marked, FCT/HC/CV/7102/2023, Apostle Suleman, through his counsel Samuel Ihensekhien leading other lawyers is claiming one billion naira damages against Halima Abubakar over alleged libelous publications against his person on social media.
The suit has been adjourned to August 18, 2023 for hearing.
