Weeks later, Alisha found she was pregnant again — and Florence and William were born on their sisters’ first birthday.
Scaffolder Connor said: “Basically, we’ve got quads.
“It was a shock but such a massive relief — we really did want to have children.”
The double arrival ended years of despair over her endometriosis for children’s support worker Alisha, from Seaton Carew, Hartlepool.
It was so severe doctors told her to have her womb removed.
But a scan before the op revealed she was pregnant.
Alisha said: “We’re so happy and so blessed.”
