However, law graduate Milly, 28, broke down in tears in a video on their Belgrave Villa account.
In Milly’s video , which had the title “We broke up”, she explained how she will now buy the house, which was previously solely owned by Louis, the son of a local hotelier.
Milly told her followers: “I am going to keep the house, and I’m going to keep the channel going.”
She explained Louis’s absence from recent renovation videos on the house, and said he had been “travelling with friends” in Australia.

After arranging meetings with accountants and mortgage advisers, Milly explained how it had taken a “long time to figure out” who was going to keep the home.
The clip ended with Louis making an awkward final return to the channel and being shown the renovation work completed while he had been away.
Viewers were also given a brief look at what he would be working on next – a semi-derelict art gallery down the road.
Louis signed off saying: “I don’t know what to say… other than it’s a shame we don’t get to carry on really, but it’s just the way of life.”

The former couple ended the announcement clip with a fist bump.
During their relationship and working on the Victorian home, they got 1.9million followers, 484,000 on YouTube and 397,000 on .
The property was built as a private home in the 1800s, but over the years had been used as a doctor’s surgery and then a bishop’s house.
Milly and Louis bought it from the Catholic Church, and it came with a cellar, extensive grounds and an old stable.
When they had got the keys to the property in March 2024, they admitted it was a “huge risk”, due to the work needing to be done.
Milly previously posted on LinkedIn: “Whether it’s stripping wallpaper, sourcing vintage tiles, or learning to tile a bathroom (the hard way), I’m here to make the process both transparent and entertaining.”
The couple forked out £410,000 for the pad, despite being on the market a year earlier for £700,000.

Milly told Newsweek: “We found a helmet insert while unblocking a doorway that had been covered with brickwork, and a certificate of authenticity for a piece of the cross of Christ.
“We also came across a newspaper article from 1925 while lifting floorboards in the master bedroom. It centred around the death of Alexandra of Denmark, queen consort to the United Kingdom from 1901 to 1910.”
The house was owned by Louis, whose multi-millionaire father owns the four-star Morgans Hotel in Swansea and is a part-owner and director of Championship side FC.
He also helped to found Wales‘s largest independent travel agency, Travel House, which was later sold to Hays Travel.
Louis, 29, is director of 12 companies himself, including the hotel – but according to Companies House, his father is also listed as co-director for each of these.
