The married couple had recently retired to the countryside and were described as “loving” by their family.
The driver of the Audi was also killed. Authorities are investigating, but it is believed that one of the vehicles was overtaking a tractor on the narrow road.
Another man, thought to be their son, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the hospital.
According to police, two vehicles collided on a stretch of road where a tractor with a front attachment was also present.
The family stated: “David and Pamela were cherished members of our family. They held a special place in all our hearts.”
The couple had moved to the area near Churchstoke earlier this year.
Their family expressed: “David and Pamela relocated to this region earlier this year to enjoy their retirement.”
“We appreciate everyone’s support during this devastating time. It has meant a great deal to our entire family. We now seek privacy to grieve.”

A police spokesperson reported: “At approximately 4:50 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a serious road traffic collision on the A489 between Churchstoke and Lydham. This location is locally known as Snead.
“The vehicles involved were a grey Audi A4 and a red Toyota Yaris. At the time of the collision, a blue tractor with a front attachment was also traveling on that stretch of road.
“Unfortunately, two individuals in the Toyota Yaris and the driver of the Audi A4 suffered fatal injuries.
“Another passenger in the Yaris sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital via air ambulance. Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
“An investigation is currently underway, and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or any of the vehicles around that time, or if they have dashcam footage while traveling on that road at the relevant time, to contact them.
