CORRIE icon Beverley Callard has shared news of her health update following an operation – and tickled fans at the same time.

– loved by many soap fans – wrote: “Day 4 post-op… sharing some thoughts and fears with you whilst navigating the tiredness!”
In the footage, the soap star can be seen in cosy blue top and striped pyjama bottoms, with her hair in a messy bun looking au natural.
The much-loved star of the cobbles explained in the emotional video: “Well, I didn’t post yesterday because, to be honest, I was completely knackered.
“I was so tired yesterday I couldn’t believe it. I’ve done nothing, but I was really, really tired.
“I got up, had a bit of breakfast, but I’ve got no appetite whatsoever at the moment, but I’m trying.
“Jon’s force feeding me and then I went back to bed, fell asleep, then I got up for an hour and went back to bed again.
“I was like that all day. I didn’t even comb my . I could not be bothered.
“So today, it’s four days since my operation, and again, I’m not in pain.
“I’m really sore under my arm and obviously I’ve still got dressings on, so I don’t know what I look like – and I’m scared of that.”
She continued with a twinkle in her eye about : “I keep thinking, maybe too much information, but I think will Jon and I still be swinging from the chandeliers?
“Not right now, but you know what I mean, and will I still be attractive or not?
“So all that’s going through in my head. I’ve got the hospital tomorrow at 11am so I’ll find out if I need this second operation.
“I don’t know yet, but I’m doing okay. I’m doing okay.”
Fans commented: “You are doing amazing and inspiring loads of people. You will be swinging from the chandeliers in no time.”
A second added: “You are a very beautiful brave lady.”
A third agreed: “You are stunning!!! Don’t stress. Allow yourself to just heal. You’ll get your mojo back.”

Beverley – who starred on I’m A Celebrity in 2020 – returned to the UK to undergo the operation to test her lymph nodes for cancer.
