PDP Sets Date for Aspirant Screening at Upcoming Convention

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) has scheduled the screening of candidates seeking positions in the National Working Committee for Tuesday, October 28, ahead of its elective convention set for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The announcement was made by the Chairman of the NCOC and Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, in a statement released on Thursday.

Fintiri noted that the deadline for submitting completed Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to the committee’s secretariat is Monday, October 27, 2025.

“The screening of all candidates for various National Offices in the 2025 PDP Elective National Convention is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2025,” he stated.

“The screening will take place at the National Convention Organising Committee Secretariat Conference Hall, Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja, at 2 PM. Additionally, the Screening Appeal is planned for Thursday, October 30, 2025.”

“Therefore, Monday, October 27, 2025, has been designated as the final date for all aspirants to submit their completed Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to the NCOC Secretariat.”

“All aspirants, key stakeholders, and party members should take note of these dates and plan accordingly,” the statement concluded.
