Crystal Palace head coach, Oliver Glasner, has called on the club’s hierarchy to sign two more players to add to his squad this summer.

Glasner made the made the request after leading his team to beat Liverpool in the Community Shield on Sunday.

He, however, insisted that he is happy with his current squad but wants to add new players before the summer transfer window closes in the coming weeks.

Recall that Crystal Palace defeated Liverpool on penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw.

“I am very happy with the squad because of course they won the trophy,” Glasner told TNT Sport.

“But I don’t want to complain about plenty of games, because you see that as a reward.

“If we don’t win the FA Cup, then we don’t talk about European football. But we want to win something, we want to play European football. We’ll be ready for it.

“But of course, if somebody needs a break – such as Daichi Kamada [who was injured] today and maybe we’ll miss him at Chelsea – and we just maybe need to add one or two players.”
