Coleen Nolan Expresses Desire to Join Strictly Come Dancing, Admits She's Never Been Contacted by BBC Show

COLEEN Nolan fancies her chances on Strictly Come Dancing, if only BBC bosses would offer her a place in the star-studded line-up.

With just weeks to go until the next series kicks off, star Coleen, 61, is hoping bosses will finally give her a chance to take to the dancefloor.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the star revealed the show is on her “bucket list” and said her co-stars have even pleaded on air for her to be signed up.

“My bucket-list is Strictly and my other Loose Women have called out on-air to get me on, but they’ve never asked me,” she said. “Who knows!”

The singer added: “I am just out of the whirlwind, which has been absolutely amazing, it was one of my favourite shows I have ever done.”

Coleen has repeatedly been linked to Strictly, but insists bosses have never formally approached her.

In 2020, she said she would “kill” to appear on the show and the following year revealed she still had not been asked.

Then, in 2024, she was forced to shut down fresh rumours that she would be appearing, but said she would consider signing up if she “lost some weight”.

Since then, the star has dropped a whopping six dress sizes and says she has “never felt better” after shedding the pounds with Voy’s weight-loss programme.

Coleen is no stranger to reality TV, having previously appeared on and win and signing up with the Celebs Go Dating agency.

The former pop star also took part in in 2009.

Coleen would not rule out a stint on either, saying: “A few people have said I should try , I think it is the show that everyone is loving, it’s good fun!”

The next series already boasts a star-studded line-up, with Hollywood actor , comedian and host among those heading to the castle.
