THIS is the heartstopping moment a seven-year-old boy plunges 80ft from a tower block window – only to be snatched from death by a heroic window cleaner.

Horrifying footage shows the child, Sasha, suddenly plummet from the 7th-storey flat in St Petersburg, Russia, as horrified neighbours screamed for him to get back inside.

The youngster, whose mother is an influencer, had been seen perched at the open window while residents tried to raise the alarm.

Caretaker Khairullo Ibadullayev, 37, sprinted to the spot and found himself directly beneath the boy as he suddenly dropped from the high-rise on Petrozavodskaya Street.

Seconds later, the cleaner bravely broke the boy’s fall with his hands and likely saved his life.

Khairullo is then struck forcefully in the chest, causing both to crash into deep snow.

He said: “I was crying and shouting, but no one was taking the child away from the window.”

The boy did not respond to frantic calls to go back inside and slipped only moments later.

“He was playing on the windowsill,” said the hero.

“I shouted for him to come inside, but he didn’t hear me.

“Then he fell. I caught him, his legs hit here, and I fell too….

“It was clear the boy wasn’t breathing. I started massaging his chest, and then I heard him gasp.

“After that, he was alright.”

At the scene of the accident, Khairullo was quick on his feet and performed chest compressions until paramedics arrived.

Sasha was rushed to hospital as first responders scrambled to save his life.

He remains in intensive care but is fortunately in a stable condition.

The boy suffered fractures to his lower legs and other injuries, local media report.

Khairullo also hurt his ribs and arm, but was able to walk away without any serious injuries.

“If the child is okay, then I’ll be okay too,” he said.

The hero arrived in Russia from Uzbekistan four months ago to earn money to support his family back home, where he has four children and elderly parents.

Before the fall, Sasha had been playing on a tablet while his mum Nadezhda Amrani, 47, briefly went into the kitchen.

Upon returning, she made the horrifying discovery that the window was wide open but her boy no longer there.

Shockingly, no window locks had been installed in the flat.

Nadezhda calls herself a social media “strategy architect” claiming to “motivate women to make choices” and “generously share [her] experiences.”

The influencer, who has more than 50,000 social media followers, reportedly only realised her son was missing around ten minutes after the fall.

Cops say they are probing the incident.
