CLARA FERNANDEZ is the up-and-coming pole vaulter making waves in the world of athletics.
The Spaniard, 22, has already as she makes her way in the sport.

Fernandez has more than 750,000 followers and regularly wows fans with her posts.
Born in Catalonia, she quickly emerged as a rising star to watch.
She excelled in pole vault as a teenager – winning at the Spanish Under-16 Indoor Championships before going on to earn silver at the 2019 European Youth Olympic Festival in Azerbaijan.
Having posted a new personal best of 4.25m last year, Fernandez is aiming to take the senior ranks by storm.

Fernandez’s popularity online has seen her dubbed the “ of track and field” – her rise likened to that of the American golf influencer.
In addition to her huge Instagram fandom, Fernandez has also gathered nearly 150,000 followers on TikTok.
Her social media posts include plenty of gym snaps, pictures from her world travels and trips to the beach – not to mention content from competitions.

She had a go at various triathlon competitions – training in swimming, long distance running and cycling.
Fernandez eventually settled on pole vaulting, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t still interested in other sports.
Last year she had a go at surfing the Basque region of Spain – while she has also gone on holidays in New York and Agadir.
And just last weekend she headed to Jerez to attend the Moto GP as a guest of Red Bull.
Fernandez has not been short of endorsement offers during her early career.
She quickly landed a deal with Nike.
And she has also modelled for clothing brand Guess.
Fernandez is currently the world No187 in pole vault, but looks set for a bright career both on and off the track.
