According to foodie Lev, you can pack it all into a sandwich that tastes even better than the Christmas roast itself.
In a video on her TikTok page, Lev showed herself slicing up the leftover meat into slices as thin as possible, before popping it into a frying pan.
She then added the leftover pigs in blankets, potatoes, vegetables, and slices of stuffing, into the pan, to keep them warm before they’re used.
The next step was to get two pieces of bread, onto one of which she put the meat and a generous helping of brie.
“Do not forget the Brie because it’s going to get it all lovely, melty, and oozy,” she explained.
She then added the leftover potatoes and vegetables, and squished it right down.
The most controversial step of Lev’s video saw her using mayonnaise on the as she said it’s the “key to a good and crispy, golden toastie”.
“Put it in a frying pan, squish it down again, add more mayo to the other side, and fry it until it’s golden brown,” she concluded.
Serving it up, she dipped it into a pot of hot gravy, before tucking in.
“It’s giving Ross Geller’s Thanksgiving sandwich!” Lev added in the video caption, referring to the famous Friends scene.
“OMG, that looks absolutely gorgeous,” one person wrote in the comments section.
“That looks banging!” another praised.
“I just wanna eat this forever,” a third admitted.
As someone else told Lev “you had me at mayo!”
“Nothing better,” another commented.
“Why did I not see this before?” someone else sighed.
