Christine revealed that due to changes in daytime programming, she will no longer be hosting.
The TV star has been one of the deputy presenters on Lorraine's self-titled morning show since 2017.
Christine, along with her fellow deputy host, was regularly seen covering for Lorraine every Friday and during all school holidays.
She also frequently stepped in at other times when Lorraine was absent.
However, following ITV’s decision to limit Lorraine’s broadcast weeks from year-round to just 30 weeks, Christine will no longer be required on the show.
Confirming her exit, she stated on Instagram: “After many years of being part of the @lorraine family, this chapter is now coming to a close.
“We’ve shared laughter, lunches, and learned so much from each other. Colleagues who have become dear friends.
“As many of the team transition into a new era in 2026, I want to extend my gratitude to every single person.”
She concluded her message by saying: “I love you all! It has been an incredible journey.”
The news of her departure was met with great sadness among her followers, many of whom expressed their desire for her to take over the show full-time.
