CHELSEA’S new striker has been dubbed a poor man’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic by his current supporters.
Emanuel Emegha will complete his transfer to Stamford Bridge next summer on a seven-year contract after a deal was agreed between Strasbourg’s BlueCo owners… and Chelsea’s BlueCo owners.

He will become the third player to switch eastern France for West London under the Todd Boehly-led era, after Mamadou Sarr – a £12m summer signing who is back at Strasbourg on loan – and and then headed to Swansea in a bonkers 34 days.
Dutch international Emegha, 22, angered the French club’s fanbase by posting pictures on social media , just weeks after being handed the captaincy at the Stade de la Meinau.
The deal was done so early in case and Strasbourg end up in the same European competition next season, which prevents inter-multi-club-ownership transfers.
But and subjected to derogatory banners by Strasbourg supporters, who even .
Much of the divided fanbase are fed up with the BlueCo multi-club ownership model ripping their local club apart – especially with Chelsea likely getting the striker for a low price when his market value could have soared by the time he actually signs at the end of the season.
One banner read: “Emegha, pawn of BlueCo, after changing your shirt, give back your armband.”
And the situation has left a bitter taste in the mouth for many, including manager Liam Rosenior who condemned the raging fans’ behaviour.
Emegha, who has retained the captaincy, has 29 goals in 68 games for Strasbourg – including an impressive six in nine this season, which .
But Christophe Seng, president of the official supporters group based in Paris, is unsure the frontman will have the same success in England where he will be .
He told SunSport: “Emegha is going to Chelsea but do you think he’s going to be in the squad as the main striker? I don’t think so.
“He’s very tall and he runs very fast. All the goals he scores, he just grabs the ball and goes straight to the goal. In England, I don’t know if this would work.
“He’s doing some great things on the pitch, he’s scoring a lot.
“But he only cares about [himself]… he’s a captain but you see he loves himself, is very self-centred.
“He’s a good player but I don’t like his attitude, to be honest.
“In Strasbourg, people are very low key, they don’t make too much noise, so we call him ‘poor Zlatan’ or ‘second-division Zlatan’ because he’s not at a big club.
“I was shocked by Emegha’s pictures with the Chelsea kit because he plays for us but obviously we’re not good enough for him.
“I believe it’s a total lack of respect, nobody does that.

“If you’re our captain you have to be focused on our team, our club, on your job and not posting pictures of yourself with another team’s jersey on your back one year before moving there.
“We can believe that you’re going to go there but just be discreet about it.”
Ironically, Seng does not think Chelsea are even getting the .
But he is resigned to the likelihood of losing Joaquin Panichelli as well as his Argentine compatriot Valentin Barco to Stamford Bridge with the way they are playing.
Seng added: “Two players are really better than the others: Barco and Panichelli.
“I don’t know if we’ll be able to keep them. Maybe if the club makes it to the Champions League, they will be able to keep them. Otherwise I don’t see them staying too long.
“I prefer Panichelli to Emegha because he’s more like an old-school striker. He’s very discreet, he doesn’t talk much and he scores.
“Barco reminds me of Marco Verratti. He’s short but moves fast in the middle, goes around players and gives nice passes.”
And it may not just be Strasbourg’s players being lined up for possible moves, either.
Asked about manager Liam Rosenior, Seng replied: “I think his destiny is maybe at some point to go back to England and become Chelsea’s head coach.”
