Chelsea in talks to sign Woltemade

Chelsea are in talks to sign another striker after recently securing the services of Liam Delap for £30million from Ipswich Town.

The Blues have begun talks with Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade in a bid to sign him this summer transfer window.

The Premier League west London club are in the market for another striker this summer despite already signing Liam Delap for £30million from Ipswich Town.

Woltemade has been on Chelsea’s watchlist for some while and Enzo Maresca’s side have now contacted the player’s agent.

As reported by transfer insider Christian Falk, the former Premeir League champions have been told there is no release clause in the 23-year-old’s contract.

The Germany international’s current contract with Stuttgart will expire in 2028.
