With Robert Sanchez Chelsea’s first-choice keeper, Jorgensen has struggled for minutes since joining.

He wanted a move in January, but the Blues didn’t want him to go.

When he has played, he has been largely disappointing.

Former head coach presented him an opportunity to establish himself as the Blues’ number one after Sanchez had a poor game against earlier on in the season.

Sanchez was dropped for a crunch tie against PSG, in whichand played a part in being eliminated by the reigning European champions.

Unlike Spurs stopper Kinsky, though, Jorgensen wasn’t able to pull off a remontada and make a case for himself as number one, with Sanchez then being brought back into the fold.

His lack of regular minutes could now see him sold, with the player having a desire to play more often and cement himself as Denmark’s number one.

Besiktas, Genoa, and FC Porto were all interested in the signing of Jorgensen in January, with the latter potentially at risk of losing the in-demand .

But Premier League interest is also expected in the Dane.

For Chelsea, the goalkeeping situation is a tenuous one.

The jury still seems to be out on Sanchez, with many fans feeling he’s not at the standard to lead Chelsea back to where they want to be, while others will argue he can be good enough when trusted and filled with confidence.

Blues chiefs but the Belgian GK may not be ready to be thrusted straight into first team Premier League football.

He looks likely to replace Jorgensen under .

Chelsea are targeting 2-3 high-profile first-team signings this summer, as reported by SunSport in the Chelsea Files yesterday, but it is unclear if one of them will be a goalkeeper.
