Published on May 23, 2025 at 04:30 PM

Chelsea defender, Trevoh Chalobah, has been called up to the England national team for the first time.

Popular football journalist, Fabrizio Romano made this known on X.

This is as the England national team coach, Thomas Tuchel, made his team for the Three Lions’ upcoming World Cup qualifiers next month public.

The Three Lions will play Andorra on June 7, before facing Senegal three days later at the City Ground.

England are currently topping the table in Group K with two wins in two games so far.

Tuchel replaced Gareth Southgate as England boss in October last year and has won both his games in charge.

Chalobah is not a strange face to Tuchel, with both men having spent over a year together at Chelsea

He was linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer, his form could force a change of heart having played a major role in the Blues’ pursuit of a Champions League place.

A call-up to the Three Lions team also shows his immense improvement in recent months.
