CHELSEA have at last waved goodbye to the last-standing member of their infamous ‘bomb squad’ from January.

In the last window, , and made up the last three players who were training entirely away from the first team, with Sterling then having his contract terminated.

Axel Disasi has moved to on loan, after spending last season on loan at and now have finally found a permanent suitor for Fofana.

He has completed a move to Swiss Super League side Servette, who Chelsea fans formed a friendship with, funnily enough, after playing each other on their way to winning the Conference League.

The Blues released a statement which read: “David Fofana has completed a permanent transfer to Swiss Super League side Servette.

“The 23-year-old signed for the Blues from Molde in January 2023, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists during his time at Chelsea and on loan.

“We thank David for his efforts during his time at Chelsea and wish him well as he begins a new chapter in his career.”

Fofana scored 22 goals in 39 games for Molde to convince Chelsea to spend £10m on him back in 2022.

But the Blues won’t be making a profit on him like the Norwegians did. Molde got him on a free transfer from Abidjan City.

Fofana then had FIVE different loan spells during his time at as he struggled to convince the powers that be to give him a chance.
