There are currently several players battling for the prestigious title of top scorer at the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN, tournament.
The 2024 CHAN is ongoing in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda).
However, six players currently lead the race for the top scorer title after scoring two goals each for their respective national teams.
Here are the top scorers at CHAN so far:
1. Allan Okello (Uganda) – 2 goals
2. Thabiso Kutumela (South Africa) – 2 goals
3. Abdelrazig Omer (Sudan) – 2 goals
4. Kaporal (Angola) – 2 goals
5. Austin Odhiambo (Kenya) – 2 goals
6. Clement Mzize (Tanzania) – 2 goals
Meanwhile, five teams have been eliminated from the ongoing CHAN.
They are Zambia, Angola, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic.
