Kwesi Appiah, Sudan’s Ghanaian coach, has warned that Nigeria has dangerous players.

Appiah spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sudan’s crucial Group D clash against Nigeria at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

Recall that Appiah’s side started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Congo last week, while the Home Super Eagles lost 1-0 against Senegal.

“Nigeria is one of the strongest sides in the tournament, but one game doesn’t define a team,” Appiah warned.

“Every Nigerian player is dangerous. We must be ready for a physically strong side with serious attacking intent.”

Sudan currently sit third position in Group D with one point, while Nigeria are in bottom position with no point.
