Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has drafted goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt into his squad for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

Chelle made the decision following an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Ani Ozoemena.

Ozoemena is currently nursing a knee injury and has been ruled out of Tuesday’s encounter against Sudan.

Harcourt was part of the team’s training camp in Ikenne.

The youngster was, however, released to take part in the 2025 WAFU B U-20 Championship.

The Flying Eagles lost 1-0 to Côte d’Ivoire in the final of the competition.
