Championship star 'done dirty' by own sister as she shares embarrassing video from match

BIRMINGHAM CITY defender Eiran Cashin became an unexpected social media star this week – but not for anything he did on the pitch.

The 23-year-old centre-back was left on the bench during Birmingham’s game against Oxford United.

But the defender went viral after his sister, who was at the game, posted a video of him warming up along with a cheeky caption.

She wrote: “Came to watch my brother’s match but it turns out that he is also watching it.”

fans quickly picked up on the clip, with reactions pouring in from across social media.

One commenter joked: “Bro’s warming up like he’s about to enter a fight.”

Another added: “You can tell he’s the youngest sibling. No one’s safe from sister slander.”

A third was more supportive, writing: “It’s a long season, and Eiran will definitely play plenty of games.”

The playful dynamic between Cashin and his sister became part of the fun for fans.

One user summed it up perfectly: “Honestly, this is what having siblings is like.”

Another offered a brutally honest take: You train your whole life to be a professional athlete, and your sister still roasts you in front of thousands.”

Despite the jokes, many City fans appreciated both the humour and the player himself.

Cashin joined the Championship side on loan this summer from Brighton and Hove Albion.

He has featured for just one minute in the league, although he played the full 90 in the EFL Cup matches against Sheffield United and Port Vale.

Birmingham are back in the second tier after a one-season absence, having romped to the League One title last season with a record points tally.
