Bayern Munich have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their UEFA Champions League tie with Chelsea on Wednesday.

According to Bild, the Bundesliga champions are set to be without left-back Raphael Guerreiro for their Champions League tie against the Blues due to injury.

Guerreiro will now join Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito, who are ruled out for the Champions League tie.

This means that Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany may be forced to use right-back Josip Stanisic on the left against the Premier League west London club.

Bayern Munich have already confirmed via their official website on Monday that Guerreiro has a ‘minor injury to his abdominal muscles’.

Guerreiro had sustained the injury in Bayern’s 5-0 win over Hamburg in the Bundesliga last weekend.
