However, one Faithful, who has been convinced for weeks that Jonathan is a traitor, voiced their opinion.
At the roundtable on Thursday night, Joe reiterated his theory about Jonathan and voted for him to be banished.
A heated exchange occurred between the rugby player and radio star as Jonathan tried to convince Joe of his innocence.
Yet, some fans of Celebrity Traitors worry that the feud runs deeper than what is shown on screen.
Speculating about a potential secret rivalry, one viewer commented: “Joe looked absolutely furious. This is great drama. I think he genuinely dislikes Jonathan.”
Another remarked: “I’m starting to understand why Jonathan has been giving interviews expressing that he didn’t enjoy the pressure as the show progressed. Imagine dealing with that version of Joe coming after you.”
A third viewer stated: “They definitely cut out some of the ‘unsportsmanlike’ and hostile conversations at the roundtable, in my opinion.”
Another added: “I’m convinced Joe Marler dislikes everyone there.”
Someone else echoed: “Joe Marler has animosity towards all these people,” while another wrote: “Joe is out for Jonathan’s blood! Perhaps they targeted the wrong Joe?!”
Meanwhile, Jonathan, 64, mentioned that it involved deceiving his celebrity friends.
He stated: “I know they’re already planning a follow-up.”
“I know because I’ve had two celebrity friends reach out to me asking, ‘I’ve been approached—should I do it or not?’ I’m sharing my experience, which was that I didn’t enjoy it.”
They filmed the show five months ago in the scenic Scottish Highlands.
In addition to the rumored ‘secret feud’ between Jonathan and Joe, attention has also been drawn to the relationship between Stephen Fry and David Olusoga recently.
According to the Mail, the two celebrities had a falling out during filming, with a source revealing: “They were deeply invested in the game, and it showed during their debates.
“The discussions between them are unlikely to be aired on Celebrity Traitors, as producers felt they didn’t align with the narrative.”
However, the BBC denied these claims, with a spokesperson telling the Metro: “To suggest that there was any tension between Stephen Fry and David Olusoga outside of the game is simply false.”
