POLICE have issued CCTV after tram passengers were left upset when a man allegedly touched himself onboard a packed service.

The indecent act happened on a tram in Lenton, , in the evening of Wednesday, July 22, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The driver was alerted to the disgusting act and forced the man to get off the service near Highfields Park, according to the .

Cops have since launched a probe into the incident and have released CCTV of a man they want to identify.

Anyone with any information that may assist the force’s investigation is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 829 of July 22.

Luke McQuillan said: “The reported actions of the man on the tram that day were absolutely disgusting and caused real upset to those who witnessed them.

“We are treating this incident with the utmost seriousness and are now trying to track down the man in these pictures, who we believe will be able to assist us with our inquiries.

“As such, we’d like to speak with him at the earliest opportunity, so would urge anyone who knows him to please share his name with us.

“If you are the person in these pictures and see this appeal, we’d ask that you get in contact with the police straight away.”
