CAFCC: Ghanaian President Mahama drums up support for Asante Kotoko ahead Kwara United clash

Ghana President John Dramani Mahama has backed Asante Kotoko ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash with Kwara United.

Mahama urged the Porcupine Warriors to play with pride when the square up with Kwara United in the preliminary round first-leg tie at the Accra Sports Stadium, Accra on Sunday (today).

The president stated this during a courtesy visit of the Warriors to the Jubilee House on Friday.

Asante Kotoko will be making a return to the continent after five years absence.

They were quarter-finalists in the competition in 1995.

The reverse fixture will hold at Moshood Abiola Sports, Arena, Abeokuta next week Sunday.
