The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has named former Super Eagles winger Ejike Uzoenyi among the greatest players to have played at the African Nations Championship, CHAN.

Uzoenyi was part of Nigeria’s bronze-winning squad at the 2014 edition of the competition hosted by South Africa.

The tricky winger caught the eye at the competition with his explosive pace and pinpoint deliveries from the left wing.

The former Enugu Rangers star was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Uzoenyi’s impressive displays at the competition earned him a place in Nigeria’s squad to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He was also part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title in South Africa.
