The Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party, LP, has called on party members to disregard the directives of Peter Obi in the by-elections across the country.

In a statement signed by the factional chairman of the party, Julius Abure, the party said it is on the ballot for the by-elections, stressing that Nigerians now know who Obi really is.

DAILY POST recalls that Obi had asked his supporters to back the candidates of the African Democratic Congress, ADC , during the forthcoming by-elections across some states in the country.

According to Abure, Obi’s directive is misleading, mischievous and delusional.

He, therefore, urged faithful party members to ignore what he described as malicious directive and go ahead with casting of their votes for the Labour Party and their candidates.

“The attention of the leadership of the Labour Party has been drawn to a statement by the party’s former presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi. Don’t listen to him.

“Nigerians have come to know who Peter Obi really is,” he said.
