By-election: APC candidate loses polling unit to PDP in Ibadan North federal constituency

The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in today’s bye-election for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Adewale Haastrup Olatunji, has lost his polling unit to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Fola Sunday Oyekunle.

DAILY POST reports that Olatunji voted at Unit 27 in Ward 10 this morning.

Our correspondent reports that the result was announced at the polling unit a few hours later.

The APC candidate scored six votes, while the PDP candidate received nine. The Labour Party secured two votes.

A total of 248 voters were registered at the polling unit, but only 17 cast their votes.
