🗣️ Bukayo Saka: “Come on, man. You can’t ask me that, you know I’ll have to give a media trained answer. You know deep down who we want to face, that’s all I say!” ❌🤐 pic.twitter.com/z6V5xQNQEt
Saka, 24, to secure a narrow 2-1 aggregate victory over their experienced opponents.
It means he and the rest of ‘s squad can sit back and watch the mouth-watering other semi on Wednesday with knowledge that they are already through.
And Arsenal do have a preference over who they meet in the club’s second ever UCL final – but nobody is sure which side it is.
Speaking to CBS Sports after the Atletico clash, Saka was asked by pundit about the second semi and who he wants to play.
Smiling with a big Arsenal scarf draped around his shoulders, Saka grinned as he replied: “Oh yes, for sure [I’ll be tuning in].
“Come on man, you can’t ask me that. You know I’m going to have to give a media trained answer to that question.
“You know deep down who we want to face, that’s all I’ll say. Leave it there man.”
His response, which was given after a laugh, was met by squeals from the CBS studio as , , Richards, and Clint Dempsey reacted.

But what did Saka mean? Arsenal have previous in with both PSG and Bayern, facing both in the past 12 months.
They beat Bayern in the league phase earlier this season, taking ‘s men apart 3-1 at the Emirates.
That stamped Arsenal’s authority over the competition as Bayern had been tipped to win the entire tournament at that stage.
, too.
In 2023-24, the club’s first season back in the for seven years, they were beaten over two legs in the quarters by Bayern.
That was a 3-2 loss with the second a close 1-0 defeat at the Allianz Arena.
Before that, , losing three games in a row 5-1 across the 2015-16 group stage and then 2016-17 last-16.
Although Arsenal did beat Bayern 2-0 at the Emirates before that run, .
That is certainly something Saka may want to get revenge for.
But the same could be said for PSG, the reigning champions.

Despite a fightback in Paris,.
Arteta’s men had won in the group phase against PSG before that, but it was a very different version of the team, who have turned it on after March once more.
They have only met twice more in Europe, both back in the 2016-17 groups.
History, then, certainly favours Saka wanting a Bayern clash, but the pain of last season could turn it towards PSG.
And fans were split on what Arsenal actually prefer, with one writing on X: “They want revenge on psg. I respect that B.
“I still think The easier opp is Bayern”.
Another replied: “you guys want bayern?? cus you defeated them in the league phase?? laughable”.
A third said: “Bring on PSG, that’s who he wants. But I’ll prefer Bayern.”
Someone else added: “Revenge narrative against either of em is lovely tbf”.
