Bashir Ahmad, former media aide to ex-president Muhammadu Buhari, has disclosed the identities of two governors expected to switch to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ahmad made this announcement in a post on X on Tuesday evening.
He mentioned that the governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, along with another governor from the North West, will be joining the ruling party "within days."
Ahmad stated: "In just a matter of days, the Governor of Taraba State and another Governor from the North West will officially join our esteemed party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)."
As of June 2025, at least two incumbent governors have already defected to the APC.
These include Pastor Umo Eno from Akwa Ibom State and Sheriff Oborevwori from Delta State.
