BRUCE BUFFER was forced to apologise after an embarrassing gaffe that left the crowd and a UFC commentator STUNNED.

The legendary MC took centre stage as he announced the judges scorecards for the bout between Marcin Tybura and Tyrell Fortune.

The heavyweights went head to head in the preliminary card – but the scenes that followed the fight left everybody in the arena scratching their heads.

shouted out the scores of 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27 by unanimous decision.

But he called out the WRONG winner of the fight.

Tybura looked slightly confused as his name echoed around the arena, while a gutted Fortune left the octagon after the initial result was revealed.

Moments later, he then made his return for the correct result to be presented after the major error.

commentator Brendan Fitzgerald said: “We have a mistake here.

“Mistake made in the announcement of Marcin Tybura, so we’re going to get Tyrell Fortune back in there.

“He didn’t expect his moment to happen like this, so we apologise for that. Bruce Buffer back on the mic again.”

Buffer then took to the mic once more and apologised before reading out the scores once again and declaring Fortune the winner.

The 68-year-old is the half-brother of boxing and professional wrestling ring announcer Michael Buffer .

Bruce has earned millions of dollars throughout his career as a ring announcer and a celebrity figure with a multi-milion networth.

It was a night of drama in Seattle with in a brutal fight.

Barber, 27, went into the bout on a seven-fight win streak but former champion Grasso provided a big reminder of the firepower that saw her previously earn a UFC gold.

A vicious left hand appeared to knock the American out – but leaving nothing to chance, Grosso pounced on her opponent and began to choke her out, before referee Mike Beltran immediately stepped in to stop the contest.
