DRIVERS are flocking to the cheapest petrol stations to fuel up ahead of the Easter getaway.

Huge queues of cars have been spotted around the country as 21million Brits prepare to hit the roads.

Savvy motorists are hunting out the cheapest places to fill up the tanks – and they’re willing to queue for the bargain.

Staying within the speed limit and using higher gears can help stretch a tank further, while digital tools are becoming essential for finding the best local deals.

Simon Williams said: “Finding the cheapest forecourts by using the fuel finder in the myRAC app has become vital as it can save several pounds at each fill-up.
