A BRITISH teenager is currently fighting for her life after being rescued from the sea at a holiday resort on the Costa Brava.
The 14-year-old is reported to have nearly drowned and is in a “critical” condition at a hospital in Lloret de Mar, located in north-east Spain.

She was transferred to an intensive care unit at Josep Trueta Hospital in the Catalan city of Girona after suffering cardiac arrest.
The girl is believed to have been swept away by a wave while swimming with friends from the UK.
Her life was saved by two police officers who jumped into the water to rescue her.
Three ambulances rushed to the location after an alarm was raised around 11:30 AM yesterday.
At the time, the sea conditions were described as choppy with strong currents.
It remains unclear this morning whether the British girl resides locally or is on vacation in the area.
