The jealous first lady of France was also shoving her husband in the face moments before disembarking from a flight to Vietnam.

The president insisted they were just “squabbling and joking” but insiders gossip that Brigitte’s much younger husband has been romping with lovers, both male and female, throughout his time in office.

The was just 15 when he started a relationship with the then , his French literature teacher.

Now, a ruthless expose claims that Brigitte Macron “has always known that women are predators… and that’s why she’s wary of them”.

“This has undoubtedly contributed to the fact that the president is mostly surrounded by men”, the author Florian Tardif added.

Tardif is the political editor of Paris Match magazine and his new book, A (Nearly) Perfect Couple, has skewered the French power couple.

But a scan of Macron’s ministers since he came into power nine years ago confirms the author’s hunch.

Only one of the president’s seven appointees was a women – and grey-haired Élisabeth Borne did not even last two years.

Tardif described Borne as: “a Diet Coke addict and compulsive vaper who understood from the outset that she was only there to tick a box”.

He also claimed that Brigitte sneaked glances at photos of women applying for jobs on the phones of advisors before them.

She would reportedly scream “Show me!” and then, if she felt the woman was too attractive, she would say: “She won’t be coming to the Élysée!”

Comments like this were “enough to seal her fate, even before she’s considered”, wrote political journalist Tardif.

“She’s very jealous”, he added.

A close ally of the first lady allegedly told the author that Brigitte “got rid” of female advisors.

According to Tardiff, the 73-year-old accelerated the departure of an intern in her twenties who allegedly tried to “use seduction to get where she wanted” in the Élysée Palace.

But the first lady has denied all allegations of snooping and hiring interference.

Her representatives told Le Par i sien : “Brigitte Macron categorically denied this account directly to the author on March 5, specifying that she never looks at her husband’s mobile phone.”

Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani has also consistently denied any romantic involvement with Macron in the past.

But in an interview with Bild , Tardif said: “Everything I wrote is 100 per cent certain.

“Four independent individuals from the president’s political entourage gave me the same explanation.

“There was indeed a platonic affair between the president and the actress.”

Many of her other relationships have remained private from the public.

It was also Tardif who revealed that Brigitte raged after reading flirty texts between Macron and the Iranian actress.

In one message, Farahani reportedly told Macron, “I find you very attractive.”

Macron, according to Tardif, also told Farahani “You are very beautiful.”

Brigitte, 73, is desperately afraid that Emmanuel, 48, will leave her.

The first lady told friends last year: “I’m afraid. Afraid of having done all of this, for him to abandon me”.

Who is Golshifteh Farahani?

GOLSHIFTEH Farahani is one of Iran's most famous yet divisive actresses after she was exiled by the regime almost two decades ago.

The 42-year-old became known worldwide after breaking out from Iranian cinema and making it to Hollywood.

Her biggest roles includes Ridley Scott’s Body of Lies (2008) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge (2017) and Netflix hit Extraction (2020).

Her major role in Body of Lies, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, sparked fury back home in her home city of Tehran.

Iranian authorities banned her returning to the country after claiming she was helping to create American propaganda.

They also said she had violated Islamic law as Golshifteh didn’t wear a hijab.

After being exiled, Golshifteh has taken Hollywood in her stride since moving to France.

She has featured in several raunchy movie scenes including Two Friends (2015).

And she posed nude for French magazine Egoiste as she sent a message of defiance back home.

She told the magazine: “France has liberated me.

“It is the only place in the world where women do not feel guilty. In the East, you are that [guilty] all the time.”

Since leaving the Middle East, she has only grown in popularity and now boasts over 15.6 million Instagram followers.

She was married to Frenchman Louis Garrel in 2012 but the pair divorced after two years.
