A FOUR-year-old boy and a woman have been left injured after a horror hit-and-run as cops launch a manhunt for the suspect.
Police were called to reports that a motorcycle had collided with a mother and child outside Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields, , on Saturday at around 3.20pm.

A four-year-old boy was found to have sustained serious injuries and was raced to where he remains.
The woman – aged in her 30s – suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital for treatment.
Northumbria said the motorcycle was not displaying a registration plate and reportedly fled the scene.
Officers are now appealing for the rider of the to come forward.
He is described as a white male of thick build, wearing a sky blue, short-sleeved t-shirt with dark-coloured shorts, ankle socks and red trainers.
Two other motorcyclists believed to have been connected to the incident have been located, but are not believed to be linked.
An area between Ocean Road and Beach Road was forced to close but has since re-opened.
