BOXING ace Nick Jones suffered such a horror injury mid-fight that the referee was forced to call for the bell.

Jones, 39, took on Federico Pacheco on Saturday in a crunch heavyweight bout.

But the fight had to be called off in the second round after the American bruiser sustained a very unusual injury.

Jones went for a right hook but suddenly pulled back and informed both referee Thomas Taylor as well as Pacheco, 22, that something went wrong.

Taylor went to check on the heavyweight who informed him he couldn’t continue.

And the camera zoomed in on Jones’ right arm that carried a huge lump on his bicep.

Matchroom Boxing then announced that the Jackson, Mississippi native ruptured his bicep during the encounter.

Pacheco was thus awarded the victory via technical knockout.

One fan tweeted: “Absolutely gruesome.”
