LET’S be honest, we all hate bin day.
From waking up early to put it outside in time for it to be collected to trying to find it once the binmen have come.

While it can be infuriating having to track down your bin in the mornings, it turns out there is a to solve the problem.
A has taken to social media to share the simple change to your bins that will actually help them put your bin back in its rightful place.
He said that when they collect the bins and put them back, they are often rolling four at the same time while keeping an eye on the road.
That means if you have your house number on the side of your bin like most do, they won’t actually be able to see it.
“Two in this hand, two in that hand,” he explained.
“You can’t look round the sides, can you? Because you’re looking forward to seeing where you’re going.”
“That’s why you need to add your [] number to your lid,” he continued.
“You can have your number and your road name.”
The binman added that way the binmen working on your road can quickly see where they need to go back to.
“Amazing! Because no, we can’t see around corners,” he added.
“We’re not amazing like everyone else, apparently.”
The clip quickly went viral on his TikTok account @ theno1.binman with over 74k views and 1,200 likes.
Plenty took to the comments to share their thoughts on the simple hack.
One person wrote: “I thought it was common sense to put the number on the lid… just me?”
Another commented: “Huh I never thought about that but it makes sense, though I’m pretty sure our bins would still end up 6 doors down either way.”
“Ok that makes sense, ordered,” penned a third.
What is a hack for making changing the bin easier?
THERE is in fact a way to make your rubbish-collecting chores far simpler - and it involves using multiple bags.
Want in on the time-saving trick? Here’s what you need to do.
Step 1
Take out a fresh bin liner and open it up – but don’t put it in your bin yet.
Step 2
Take a second bin bag, place it inside the first bag and open it up – so that they’re nestled inside each other.
Continue to do this until 10 bags are neatly inside.
Step 3
Carefully place the entire bin bag fusion inside your bin before folding the tops over the lip.
The next time you fill a bag, simply lift it up out of the bin and another one will be good to go straight away.
There you go! You’ll never change your bin in the same way again.
Meanwhile, others weren’t convinced it would work, a fourth said: “My number is on the top and the front. I still have to walk 4 houses down to get it back.”
“My bin is never back in the same place,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Mine has got the number on every side and the top. Mine is also the only bin in that area as I have a side gate and everyone else has a back gate on another street and STILL the bin ends up on a different street.”
