The singer got into character alongside Canadian actress Sarach Polley, 47, on set for the film adaptation of novel.

Billie is set to play protagonist Esther Greenwood and it’s a far cry from her usual tom-boy pop persona.

The film will be Billie’s long awaited acting debut after saying acting was a “dream” of hers in 2021.

She said: “I used to say that I hated acting, but the truth is, when I was little, I loved it.

“And it was my dream to be in a movie.”
