Melissa, 30, has some of the largest natural breasts in the UK and has endured severe back pain since her adolescence.

It takes her an hour to get out of bed each morning, and she struggles to lift her eight-month-old daughter.

At 20, Melissa made the decision to pursue a breast reduction, but her GP advised her to wait until she had children and breastfed.

After giving birth to her two children, Melissa was informed earlier this year that her BMI of 35 is too high and that she needs to reach a BMI of 27 to qualify for surgery on the NHS.

Due to her ongoing pain, Melissa states she cannot function properly and is now seeking £8,000 for private treatment to reduce her two and a half stone breasts.

Melissa, a stay-at-home mom from Scotland, says: “My back feels like I’m 70 years old.”

“I don’t want to rely on the pain medication they’ve prescribed because it makes me dizzy.”

“I can’t pick up my daughter, and that’s heartbreaking; I want to be able to play with her and hold her.”

“While cleaning, I have to take breaks until the pain subsides.”

“In the morning, I can’t do anything until I’ve completed my back stretches.”

Melissa believes she has some of the largest breasts in Britain.

She added: “The bras in my size cost £82, which I can’t afford, so I have to buy a smaller size that still costs £20 each.”

“I have a picture of myself at 18 when I was a size six or eight, and it looks like I had surgery for breast augmentation.”

“Last year, I asked my husband to support my breasts while I stood on the scale, and two and a half stone was the weight difference.”

“I believe I have some of the largest breasts in Britain; I wear a size 36M.”

Melissa faced bullying at school for being flat-chested before she suddenly experienced a growth spurt.

She said: “My mom has large breasts, and my grandmother did as well, so I think it’s hereditary.”

“One moment, I was bullied for being flat-chested; the next, I was teased for having 'tea towels' down my bra.”
