THE first look at this year’s Big Brother house has been revealed and the house has been given a royal red makeover.

The reality series kicks off this Sunday at 9pm and has undergone a change with a deep red vibe running throughout the house.

Whilst the layout remains the same as in previous years, the new lick of paint has added a new pizzazz to the property.

The living area comes complete with the house’s trademark sofas as well as a large TV screen – hinting that housemates could be able to spy on one another during certain show tasks.

The open-plan layout remains with a dark-green kitchen to contrast the red colours throughout the main house.

Many of the kitchen amenities are gold with The Sun able to tell how the housemates will all be using gold cutlery during their stay in the house.

The royal red theme continues into the very spacious bathroom which features a massive bathtub with enough room for two or three housemates in one go.

The room also features side-by-side showers and plenty of hidden away storage.

In the main bedroom of the house, the layout of the beds has dropped a huge clue that celebrity legends could be on their way into the house, as previously reported by The Sun.

Whilst mostly single beds, one of them is a double and is built into a feature wall with a huge circular mirror.

The extra special design could hint that the bed is only for a famous resident to sleep in.

Meanwhile, the secret garden room is back – a perfect place for housemates to have sneaky conversations behind the others’ backs.

This year, the show is back for an extended eight-week run with AJ Odudu and back on hosting duties once more.

The programme will be joined by a brand new spin-off, in the form of a visual podcast, The Group Chat, fronted by and .

Ahead of the show, there will also be a very special 24-hour livestreamed ‘dry run’.

Whilst the dry run has always taken place behind closed doors, this year, the show .

One of the ‘guinea pig’ housemates will be none other than Angry Ginge.

Ginge and his crew – the Bov Boys – will all be bedding down for 24 hours in the house.

As well as Ginge, the Bov Boys consists of fellow online content creators – Tays, Jakey Davies and Chazza. Heinz Baines will be absent due to a prior family commitment.

The action will be streamed across the four lads’ own channels as well as the Reality and Big Brother UK channels.

The takeover will last a full 24 hours and see the lads put Big Brother through his own paces.
