Super Eagles defender, Abdullahi Bewene has signed a new five-year contract with Czech club Baník Ostrava, DAILY POST reports.

Bewene is now contracted to the Baniček until June 2031, putting an end to speculation over his future.

The 21-year-old rose through the youth and B teams at Baník to the first team.

The right-back has also earned recognition on the international scene with Nigeria.

Bewene made his international debut for the Super Eagles in a friendly against Poland last month.

The right- back also featured in the Super Eagles’ 2-1 friendly defeat to Portugal.

He also represented Nigeria at the U-17 level in the past.
