The Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has officially unveiled its aspirants for the House of Representatives as part of preparations for the forthcoming National Assembly elections.
The party, in a statement, said the unveiling signals its readiness for the 2027 general election, noting that the list features a blend of experienced politicians, emerging leaders, and committed party loyalists drawn from across the state’s federal constituencies.
It added that the aspirants reflect the party’s growing strength and internal vibrancy, while reaffirming its commitment to producing credible candidates capable of delivering effective representation at the National Assembly.
According to the PDP, the aspirants include Dr Shior Emmanuel, Hon Iortyom Simon, Hon Tikaa Desmond, Dr Kester Kyenge, Hon Sunday Emmanuel Udeh, Hon Godwin Joseph, Hon Engr Orje Torhee, Hon Adejo Adejo, Hon Desire Oche Adaji, Hon Adoyi Isaac, Hon Ikyaator Vaachia, Hon Aida Nath, Barr Uke Seer Adeiyongo, Hon Ikyaagba Dominic, Hon Ukaa Emmanuel, Moses Mkeenem, Gen Ode Ede Gabriel (Rtd), Innocent Adega, Dexta Ngbede, and Hon Mrs Makama-Iver Ana Abigail.
The party reiterated its commitment to a transparent, free, and fair selection process that will ultimately produce candidates who will advance the interests of the people.
It also called on party members, stakeholders, and the general public to support the process in the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and collective progress.
