The Benue State All Progressives Congress (APC) has held its State Congress and reaffirmed the Austin Agada-led State Executive Committee for another four-year tenure.
The congress attracted statutory delegates, party leaders, and stakeholders from across the state. It was marked by unity, orderliness, and a collective commitment to strengthening the party’s structures at all levels.
Speakers at the occasion unanimously pledged unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator George Akume, and the Benue State APC Chairman, Austin Agada.
They emphasised that the Benue APC remains united under the leadership of Senator Akume, noting that stability within the party is vital for sustained growth and electoral success.
Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Iorwuese Hagher, in his address underscored the importance of unity, discipline, and loyalty within the party. He called on members to close ranks and work collectively towards consolidating the gains of the APC in Benue State and beyond.
Second Republic Senator, Dr Jack Tilley Gyado, aligned with other stakeholders in declaring full support for President Bola Tinubu, Sen Dr Akume, and the Austin Agada-led executive, describing the current leadership as critical to the party’s stability and progress.
At the conclusion of deliberations, a voice vote was conducted, and delegates unanimously affirmed the continuation of the Austin Agada-led State Executive Committee for another four-year term.
